How I got here
I started my B.Eng. in Engineering and Management at Hochschule Merseburg in September 2024. Most of what I know about building software I taught myself alongside the degree, in the hours around lectures.
I began with Python, then went deep on FastAPI — not tutorials, but building things end to end until the parts I did not understand became obvious. A resume-scanning platform, a task management API, an open-source admission-test tool for students back home.
Right now I am moving into AI engineering: retrieval, agents, and the unglamorous work of making a model's output reliable enough to build on. That is where I want my career to go.
The route so far
Moving into AI engineering
Working through retrieval, agent orchestration with LangChain and LangGraph, and evaluation — the part that decides whether an LLM feature is trustworthy or just a demo.
Germany, and the first real backends
Started at Hochschule Merseburg and was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium, sponsored by Dow Olefinverbund. Built a task management API in Python and shipped AdmissionOps, an open-source admission-test tool covering BUET, DU, Medical and GST past questions in both Bengali and English.
